A Belizean Thriller   (September 2009)

Based on my six years in Belize, I have written a Thriller about Belize at the Turn of the Century.

It's February 2000.  Tommy Conklin is a Y2K project manager at a bank in Denver,  His project completed, he is wondering what to do next when he gets a call from Lynette, his sister-in-law (and former fiancée) in Belize.

"Your brother Phillip is lying in a coma in the hospital in Belize City.  If you want to see him alive, you better get down here."

Tommy gets to Belize, only to see his brother kidnapped by a couple of bad guys. .The Police do nothing.

With the help of Phillip's dog Igor, Tommy starts tracking down his brother.  He upsets the Police and they throw him in jail!    His former team members – who now call themselves "Tommy's Posse" – come down to rescue him and start a new bank!  There are many political complications and solutions. (You will find out how Belize really works.)  There are shoot-outs with bad guys.  Igor almost dies.  Tommy falls in love with a beautiful Belizean girl!  The majestic tropical beauty of Belize winds through it all -- at once enthralling, mysterious, and full of promise.

I have rewritten the book six times!!  Here are the first nine chapters.  Just enuf to get Tommy in deep trouble!.

I am looking for an agent.  If you can help me.  please write me.

Of course. if you help me find one and I sell the book, I will $hare generou$ly in the reward$$!!!  (10% comes to mind.)

Thanks
